Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks a highly motivated scientist to support drug discovery and target validation within the Pathobiology Group. You will optimize antibody reagents for IHC/CISH, develop tissue-based assays, and collaborate with internal and external teams to advance oncology, fibrosis, virology, and inflammation targets.

The role requires a BS with 8+ years or an MS with 6+ years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in IHC methods and data management.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR MS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Direct participation in drug discovery and target identification/validation in oncology, fibrosis, inflammation, or virology.
• Experience with IHC method development, tissue handling, and organized data entry.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and/or validate antibody reagents for IHC and CISH.
• Develop tissue-based assays for drug targets and pathways.
• Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments supporting drug candidate projects.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior staff and identify new technologies to improve throughput.
