Job summary

Skillit is seeking skilled Carpenters & Concrete Carpenters (journeyman+) for exciting projects across select U.S. cities. This includes journeymen, masters, foremen and superintendents.

Many of our customers are looking for carpenters with drywall framing and concrete formwork experience, with safety and quality at the forefront. Salary ranges from $28 to $65+ per hour DOE. We offer Paid Time Off, Medical coverage, and Retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyman+ carpentry skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools.
• Willing and able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow blueprints and project specifications for carpentry tasks.
• Perform framing, installing structures, and finishing work.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
• Use a variety of tools, both powered and non-powered, effectively and safely.
• Seek clarification and ask questions to ensure accurate work.
• Lift and handle materials with care and safety.
