Job summary

Gamoran Legal Consulting is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate to join its international law firm team across multiple U.S. offices.

You will draft and prosecute patent applications, handle US and foreign patent office practice, and counsel on opinions, due diligence, licensing, and litigation support for life sciences clients. The role is hybrid, with opportunities in Silicon Valley, San Diego, Austin, and New York, offering a compensation range of $235,000–$365,000 plus discretionary bonus

Qualifications

• At least 2-6 years working with life sciences clients.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or a biotechnical discipline.
• Admission to the USPTO.

The role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated life sciences-focused matters involving U.S. and foreign patent office practice, opinion work, due diligence, licensing, litigation support, and client counseling.

Work Arrangement

The position Hybrid and is available in Silicon Valley, San Diego, Austin, and New York.

The position offers an annual compensation range of $235,000–$365,000 and is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Additional benefits include a 401(k) plan, medical, dental and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to 10 paid holidays, and family care benefits.
