Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related STEM field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in patent portfolio management, IP administration, or prosecution in academic/industry settings.
• Familiarity with Bayh–Dole requirements and working with outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full patent portfolio lifecycle and strategy for the TTO.
• Oversee prosecution, deadlines, and docketing across US and international matters.
• Direct outside counsel and IP vendors; monitor budgets and SLAs.
• Engage inventors and ensure IP compliance, including government rights obligations.
• Develop SOPs and improve IP management processes and reporting.
