Job summary

StaffingForce is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney in New York, NY. The role focuses on PTAB/IPR and federal district court matters for a prestigious US multinational law firm with a strong IP practice.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of patent litigation experience, exposure to source code, NY Bar admission, and a background in CS/EE/Math/Physics or related fields. Excellent research and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PTAB/IPR, patent litigation in district court, and/or ITC proceedings.
• Exposure to source code.
• Experience within a major law firm setting (current or very recent).
• Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired).
• A degree in either Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar field.
• Strong research, verbal & written communication skills required.
• New York Bar.

Responsibilities

• Representing a diverse clientele in court defending their intellectual property rights.
• Drafting pleadings.
• Conducting discovery.
• Arguing motions before the court.
• Navigating the complex procedures of federal court.
• Providing information as needed.
