Job summary

Vanguard-IP, a top-rated IP boutique firm in New York, is seeking an attorney with patent litigation experience to join our busy PTAB and ITC practice. Requirements include a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission or eligibility for Washington, DC, bar.

Electrical Engineering or Computer Science background is preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication, exceptional attention to detail, and proven collaboration in a team environment are essential for success in

Qualifications

JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admitted to or eligible for admission in Washington, DC.
Prior patent litigation experience in district courts and/or before the ITC.
Experience with patent infringement and validity analyses.
Experience with drafting and preparing motions and briefs concerning patent issues.
Experience with handling/managing discovery aspects of litigation.
Some experience with depositions and working with expert and fact witnesses is preferable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail, collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
