Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills are required, as part of the responsibilities also include personal interviews before USPTO examiners and appearances before the Board of Appeals.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required; graduate degree a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary ranges for this position apply to New York, Princeton, and Washington, DC. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $130,000 - $220,000.
