BCG Attorney Search seeks a patent agent to join its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, relevant industry experience, and excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities include preparing and prosecuting patent applications in EE and software-related technologies, collaborating with clients to protect their IP, and performing patentability and freedom-to-operate

Qualifications

• 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• USPTO registration is required.
• Experience in machine learning, telecommunications, autonomous driving, RF circuitry, or hardware security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering and software-related technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and protect their intellectual property.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and patent law developments.
