Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical background in software, AI/ML, semiconductors, telecommunications, networking, computer architecture, or related technologies.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO required.
• Prior patent prosecution experience.
• Experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications.
• Experience preparing responses to Office Actions and conducting patentability analyses.
• Prior experience in a law firm or in-house IP environment preferred.
• Experience with due diligence, opinions, freedom-to-operate analyses, licensing, and related patent counseling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Sound business judgment and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
• Prepare responses to Office Actions and conduct patentability analyses.
• Assist with due diligence, opinions, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Support licensing and other patent counseling work.
