Whole Foods Market in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Seasonal Pastry Production Team Member for a 90-day period as needed. You will follow recipes to produce and assemble a range of pastries, from tarts and pies to laminated items like croissants and Danishes.

Job description

This is a Seasonal position, 90 day expectation, as needed basis. Perform duties related to the daily production of baked goods. Follow recipes in order to prepare pastry products. Responsible for prepping and assembling products such as tarts, pies, cakes, as well as laminated products such as croissants, Danishes and cinnamon rolls. Communicate daily production needs and information with other TM’s.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate mix times and temps logs.
• Follow recipes in order to prepare pastry products.
• Be very accurate in mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, and baking to ensure consistency in daily production.
• Prep and assemble products such as tarts, pies, cakes and laminated products such as croissants, Danishes, and cinnamon rolls
• Follow all GMP guidelines, complete all documentation for HACCP, FSMA, and daily operational sheets as required by food safety plan
• Mix and process cookies, and other pastry items as directed
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Follow production schedule.
• Follow and comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

The wage range for this position is $18.00-$28.05 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers "Whole Benefits".
