Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Typical schedule: Sunday through Thursday, day shift. No late nights.

Fireside Grille offers wood-fired cuisine, American classics, and comfort dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Southern Oak is an authentic steakhouse providing an elegant atmosphere and exquisite taste for dinner Mondays through Fridays.

Job Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of the Pastry Chef, prepares pastries, baked goods, and desserts for the Food & Beverage department, community residents, daily specials, and special events.
  • Prepares all food according to standard recipes and dietary requirements.
  • Organizes pastry production cost-effectively and in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintains workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Follows standards for personal hygiene and dress code.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen tools and equipment properly.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience as a pastry cook in hotels, restaurants, or similar industry producing pastries, desserts, and breads from scratch.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Understanding of measurements, conversions, nutrition, and diet.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
