Cardenas Markets is seeking a Pastry Cashier to provide friendly customer service and accurate cash handling in our California retail stores. The role supports store operations while upholding the company’s values of integrity and respect.

This position offers opportunities to grow professionally and to contribute to community-focused service. You will take orders in person and by phone, keep the workspace clean and organized, and assist with loss prevention and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pastry Cashier provides customer service and cash handling in a retail store environment. The role is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.

• WALKING: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• STANDING: Continuously, throughout shift.
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
