Expected pay for this position is $26.99 - $31.75/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Pastoral Care Professional is an integral part of a Pastoral Care team that embraces a model of care for the whole person – body, mind and spirit. Directed to the spiritual dimensions of the human person that are often appreciated more deeply during times of illness, pastoral care is an integral part of the patient care team. Pastoral Care Professionals are effectively integrated with patient care and family support services on patient care throughout OSF. A foundational focus of Pastoral Care is to serve as a pastoral and spiritual support to patients, care givers & patient care teams in ways they identify as meaningful and helpful. Through professional training and certification, the Pastoral Care Professional assists patients/families to understand more fully life's events as they relate to their spiritual and emotional well-being.
