St John’s Reformed Church is an evangelical Christian church partnered with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. We are located in Loysburg, PA; a small village in Bedford County, surrounded by scenic mountains, beautiful farms, and quiet streams. We are a small but healthy church with a regular attendance of around 60 people each Sunday morning. We have many older members who have been attending for the majority of their lives as well as a growing number of younger families with children.
St John’s Reformed Church is an evangelical Christian church partnered with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. We believe in one God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. We also use the Heidelberg Catechism. St. John’s comes out of the German Reformed tradition and maintains the five “solas” of the Reformed faith.
St. John’s Reformed Church of Loysburg is seeking a full‑time Pastor to work with our consistory in faithfully caring for the people of our church and pointing them to Jesus each and every week. We are looking for an applicant who is experienced in preaching expository sermons, reformed in their understanding of the sovereignty of God, passionate about discipling old and young alike, and able to gently lead our church into a deeper understanding of God’s grace through Jesus.
