Job summary

Trojan Battery Company is seeking a Pasting Operator to apply paste to grids and create plates that help our world-class batteries hold their charge. You will load raw materials, move materials to and from machines, and perform visual quality checks on the line.

Responsibilities include operating the pasting equipment, entering data into the data collector, and lifting 50–80 lbs while standing for long periods; a respirator is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Experience in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant.
• 2–3 years manufacturing/plant experience with a strong work history.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment.
• Commitment to safety excellence and PPE including a respirator.
• Must be clean shaven.
• Adherence to strict hygiene rules including showering and lunch periods on site.
• Able to lift 50–80 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Position Overview

Pasting Operator will include applying the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help our world class batteries hold its charge. You will be loading raw materials into machines, manually on/off bear materials from/to machines and perform visual inspections for quality and quantity.

Areas of Focus

Pasting Operator will be committed to perform role safely and wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), including a respirator.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Ability to work in a lead acid battery manufacturing plant
• Two-three (2-3) years manufacturing/plant experience with a strong and consistent work history
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment
• Must be committed to safety excellence and have ability to wear all required PPE (including a respirator)
• Must be clean shaven
• All employees must follow strict hygiene rules including mandatory showering and lunch periods on site
• Must be able to lift 50 - 80 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
