Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. is hiring a Pasta Cook to uphold top standards of food quality and sanitation. You will ensure timely preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items, and support line checks and prep work each shift.

The role requires 3–6 months of related experience or training, with competitive compensation, flexible shifts, and benefits. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items.
• Support line checks process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties.
