Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen seeks a Pasta Cook to join our kitchen crew. Our team delivers California creativity to every meal, focusing on quality, speed, and guest satisfaction in a lively dining environment.

You will prepare pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items, maintain sanitation, and work with the team to open/close the station and handle side duties. Three to six months experience is required or training provided.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of pastas, sandwiches, and grilled items.
• Support line checks process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties.
