Job summary

Roadrunner Services is seeking drivers for local auto auctions and dealership runs in Massachusetts. This is a non-CDL driver role with a 1099 contract and part-time status. You will shuttle passengers and vehicles between the Manheim Auto Auction location and nearby dealerships, following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• No CDL required.
• Successful MVR, background and drug test.
• Must be able to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly.
• Ability to see clearly and perceive depth and motion.

Responsibilities

• Drive passenger vehicles to auto auctions and dealerships.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers.
• Follow other vehicles or chase van in front of you.
• Follow safe driving procedures.
• Scan vehicles with a smartphone.
• Perform a walk-around visual inspection for damage.
• Work as part of a team to deliver vehicles safely.

Job Scope:

• Drive passenger vehicles to and from the auto auctions and nearby dealerships or storage lots.
• Ride in a company shuttle van with other drivers to and from the pickup and drop-off locations
• Follow other vehicles or chase van in front of you
• Follow safe driving procedures
• Scan vehicles with a Smart phone
• Perform a walk around visual inspection for damage before driving the vehicle
• Work as part of a team to provide efficient and safe pickup and delivery of vehicles

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• Good Driving Record
• Successful MVR, background and drug test
• Ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly during the day
• Ability to see clearly near and far, maintain adequate peripheral vision and perceive depth and motion as well as distinguish traffic signals and sounds.
• Smart Phone

Pay Rate

$15 per hour
