Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting for airport support roles to assist passengers with restricted mobility and ensure smooth transfers from aircraft to terminal. You will greet passengers, communicate with staff, and support during check-in and security processes.

The role requires the ability to lift passengers following manual handling guidelines and to comply with health and safety rules. A pre-employment screening including employment references is stated as part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM).
• Communicate effectively with passengers and staff.
• Assist PRM at drop off/pick up, airline check-in, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft.
• Assist transfers from aircraft to airport terminal using equipment.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

About The Role:

3 On / 3 Off - 12 hour shifts

As part of your role, your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)


• Communicate effectively with the passengers and staff


• Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check-In, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft.


• In a safely manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment


• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations.


• Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.


• Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels


• Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines.

You will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employment referencing.
