Job summary

University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), part of the University of Maryland Medical System, in Pasadena, Maryland, seeks BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians for outpatient primary care. This is a full-time opportunity with strong team support and a focus on work-life balance.

The role features an 18+ patient per day adult outpatient panel, a collaborative physician-APP model, and opportunities to develop clinical interests such as procedures, sports

Qualifications

  • Active license to practice medicine in Maryland (required)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (required)
  • Maintains current DEA or controlled substances certification
  • Eligible for privileges at UMMS affiliated facilities
  • Meets CME requirements for licensure and board certification
  • Outpatient primary care clinical competence and experience

Responsibilities

  • Join outpatient Primary Care network in Anne Arundel County
  • Work across multiple practice locations with strong system support
  • Provide full-time outpatient care with good work-life balance
  • Manage an 18+ patient per day adult outpatient panel
  • Collaborate in physician & APP team-based model
  • Support development of clinical interests (procedures, sports medicine, women's health, chronic disease)
