Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is hiring Party Hosts to welcome birthday parties, manage scheduled activities, and create unforgettable birthday memories. You will engage guests, coordinate with the party planner, and help ensure safe, clean operations before, during, and after events.

Prior food & beverage or party-host experience is a plus, but not required. A strong guest-centric attitude, teamwork, and effective communication with staff are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties as their Host.
• Interact with Guests to create memorable birthday experiences.
• Monitor events, anticipate party needs, and assist the party planner.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake as needed.
• Process payments and greet Guests returning to the venue.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
