Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is hiring a Party Host to lead birthday celebrations with enthusiasm and ensure unforgettable experiences. You will welcome guests, manage scheduled activities, and maintain safety and sanitation throughout the event.

Daily duties include engaging party guests, coordinating gifts and cake, handling payments, and assisting with setup and cleanup. Availability for days, nights, and weekends is required, with a fun, guest-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork are essential
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Clear communication with management, team, and guests
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and act as their Host throughout scheduled activities
• Create memorable experiences by interacting with guests during the event
• Monitor events, anticipate needs, and assist the party parent/ planner
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake as applicable
• Process payment transactions and welcome guests back
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards

As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
