Job summary

Caring Senior Service is seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care and daily living support for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role features short evening hours and hands-on assistance, with a focus on safety and comfort in the home.

Required are senior-care experience, ability to assist bedridden clients, and a valid driver's license. CPR/First Aid is a plus, and EMR/Hoyer lift knowledge is beneficial for the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care or home health is required.
• Hands-on care including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Comfort with bed-bound tasks and in-bed hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Assist bedridden clients with bed brief changes, hygiene and repositioning.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using a Hoyer lift when needed.
• Administer scheduled medications and document care and vital signs.
• Support memory care and dementia routines.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and ensure safety and comfort.
• Drive clients to appointments or errands when needed.
• Maintain accurate care notes and follow the care plan.

We are hiring a reliable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care and daily living support for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position is ideal for someone looking for short evening hours and who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and other activities of daily living
• Assist bedridden clients with bed brief changes, hygiene, repositioning, and comfort
• Assist with transfers and mobility, including use of a Hoyer lift when needed
• Administer scheduled medications and accurately document care and vital signs, as directed
• Assist with memory care and dementia routines
• Prepare balanced meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and ensure the client's safety and comfort
• Drive clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Maintain accurate care notes and follow the client's individualized care plan

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, home care, or personal assistance required
• Hands-on experience providing personal care and assisting bedridden clients
• Comfortable performing bed brief changes and in-bed personal hygiene
• Ability to use EMR systems and Hoyer lifts
• Valid driver's license
• CPR / First Aid certification is a plus
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional
• Must be comfortable working short evening shifts
