Kendall Auto Group in Bend, OR is seeking a Partsperson for our fast-paced Kendall Ford Bend parts department. You will sell OEM and aftermarket parts to technicians and customers, helping with parts information and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, creating invoices, processing orders and returns, and assisting service staff and customers by phone, online, and in person.

Qualifications

Kendall Auto Group offers competitive compensation through base + commission pay plans. This is not an entry level position. We are seeking candidates with automotive parts experience, including inventory control, and knowledge of electronic parts catalogues; experience with manufacture specific catalogues is preferred.

We are a premier employer in the area and our dealership serves not only the local community but also all the outlying, rural communities with all their Ford and Mazda parts and service needs. This means there is no lack of work for our parts personnel.

Job duties will include selling parts to customers and vendors via phone, internet, and in person, maintaining inventory records, assisting customers and technicians with parts needs and obtaining parts information, creating invoices, processing orders, returns, and warranties, and receiving parts from delivery. You will be working with customers and technicians closely, the ability to communicate effectively, make recommendations, and prioritize items in order of importance is required.

Work is performed indoors spending up to 75% of work shift using computers and phone systems. Standing and walking for up to 30% of work shift is required to assist clients at the counter and deliver parts to technicians. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds rarely required when moving parts.
