Job summary

Karl Malone PowerSports is hiring a Parts Department Assistant to help customers find and price parts, process orders, and communicate order status. You’ll work closely with the Parts Manager to locate hard-to-find items and ensure accuracy in orders.

Ideal candidates are organized, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a family-owned powersports business.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Ability to stay organized in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Help customers and staff identify, price, and locate standard and custom parts.
• Oversee parts sales from start to finish and update customers on status.
• Track down hard-to-find parts with the team.
• Assist with special-order requests and confirm orders.
• Keep customers informed about parts availability and shipping.
• Communicate with customers and teammates in a friendly, professional way.
• Follow all safety policies and local regulations.
• Stay up to date with applicable federal, state, and local rules.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part parts detective, part customer service pro, and part behind-the-scenes hero.

• Help customers and staff identify, price, and locate standard and custom parts.
• Oversee parts sales from start to finish and make sure customers know what’s happening every step of the way.
• Work with the Parts Manager to track down those hard-to-find parts that somehow always seem to be hiding.
• Assist with special-order requests and make sure customers get what they actually ordered.
• Keep customers updated on parts availability and order status.
• Communicate with customers and team members in a friendly, professional, and helpful way.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Bottom line: You’ll help turn “Do you guys have this part?” into “Yep, we’ve got you covered.”
