Job summary

RDO Truck Centers in Fargo, ND is seeking a parts warehouse associate to perform customer service and stocking duties related to parts sales, receiving and delivery. You will maintain inventory, process shipments, and uphold a clean, safe warehouse.

This role emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, safety compliance, and teamwork with peers, management, and support resources. Prior knowledge of a parts operating system is helpful, but not required; valid work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate all freight charges and status of shipments.
• Directly responsible for all incoming part shipments, which may include loading/unloading.
• Maintain record of all shipments inbound and outbound.
• Follow transactional processing procedures using RDO Truck Centers guidelines.
• Use dealership equipment, including forklifts and resources safely and proficiently.
• Proactively assist and report discrepancies to improve inventory control.
• Ensure customers receive correct parts in a timely manner through procedures.
• Receive, ship, and store parts per DOT guidelines.
• Stay current on industry and product information.
• Pick up and deliver parts for customers and vendors as needed.
• Mark and store parts in stockroom and assist with cycle counts.
• Follow safety rules and adhere to policies in manuals and employee handbook.
• Conduct yourself professionally in presence of customers and community.
• Seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills.
• Participate in company/location communications such as huddles and meetings.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with peers and management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
