Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to customers and technicians.
• Pull, package, and deliver parts.
• Assist customers/technicians in locating and providing the correct parts.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Pick up items from vendors or transfer items between Alta facilities.
• Check in, unpack, and store parts properly.
• Process parts for deliveries and verify order accuracy.
• Maintain orderly and clean department and participate in inventories.

Alta Equipment Company is seeking a full‑time Parts Warehouse Specialist for our Case Construction Equipment Group at our Cranberry, PA location. The role supports parts sales and logistics to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Selling of parts
• Pull, package and deliver parts
• Assist customers and/or technicians with locating and providing the correct part(s)
• Ensure all paperwork related to deliveries are complete and correct
• Pick up items from vendors or transfer items between Alta facilities
• Check in, unpack and put away parts
• Pick, package and process parts for deliveries via shipping vendors
• Check order accuracy before each delivery
• Maintain department order and cleanliness
• Assist in physical inventory counts
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of previous heavy equipment, auto or truck parts counter experience desired
• High school diploma/GED
• Basic mechanical understanding and the ability to identify by sight and by name the parts of an industry related piece of equipment
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism is required
• Equipment operation: Forklifts and hydraulic hose making is preferred
• Language Skills – Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence, and present information to customers
• Mathematical Skills – Basic: Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s, using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Reasoning Ability – Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to submit to and pass a driving background summary

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regular use of hands, talk/hear; frequently sit; occasionally stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Vision: see both close and at a distance, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and see color
• Lift and move: frequently lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift 26 to 100+ pounds
• Work environment: occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
