Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a reliable Inventory & Warehouse Associate to support daily parts operations at our Whittier, CA facility. You will stock, pull, pack, and prepare parts for orders, and coordinate with drivers.

Ideal candidates are organized, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable using computer systems to track inventory, process invoices, and reconcile stock counts. Strong communication with teammates and drivers is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders.
• Pulls materials and parts and places orders in delivery area.
• Prepares invoices for parts orders.
• Interacts with drivers.
• Organize drivers' routes according to filled orders.
• Processes all invoices received from drivers.
• Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles stock to reports.
• Receives, unpacks and delivers goods.
• Re-stocks items as necessary.
• Processes and documents returns following established procedures.
• Monitors and maintains current inventory level.

What You'll Do:

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders

• Reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports

• Re-stocks items as necessary
• Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures
• Monitors and maintains current inventory level
• Processes purchasing orders as required
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain area clean
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations organized and neat
• Maintains clean shipping supply area
• Complies with procedures, rules and regulations

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check

Compensation:

• $19-$21 hourly (depending on skills and qualifications)
• Plus a monetary bonus Incentive
• Full Time permanent position
