Job summary

Hendrick Chevrolet (Columbia) is seeking a dedicated Parts Warehouse associate to handle shipping and receiving, stock parts, and maintain organized inventory. The role supports the Parts Department in daily operations at our Columbia location, requiring attention to detail and reliability in timekeeping.

Responsibilities include checking shipments, stocking shelves, and assisting with orders while upholding safety standards and company core values.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities may include handling inventory and basic warehouse tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Basic computer skills for timekeeping and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Controls receipt of inventory
• Receives incoming shipments, checks packing slip against shipment
• Identifies and reports overages/shortages
• Stocks parts in correct bin locations
• Notifies personnel of special orders
• Performs inventory test counts
• Loads and unloads trucks
• May operate a forklift
• Maintains organized, clean, safe work area
• Maintains company CSI standards
• Records hours accurately in timekeeping system
• Follows safety rules and company policies
• Other duties as assigned
