Ohio CAT, a division of Ohio Machinery Co., is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to support service technicians and customers by maintaining heavy equipment and engine parts inventory. Based in our parts warehouse, you will fulfill orders, pick and pack, make hoses, and assist with deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least three years of warehouse experience, preferably in a mechanical parts environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years warehousing/inventory experience required; some mechanical parts experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain parts inventory in the warehouse.
• Fulfill parts orders and assist customers and service technicians.
• Pick, pack, and ship parts; assist with hose fabrication as needed.
• Make deliveries when required.

9:00am - 5:00pm

Job Summary

The Parts position will be based in our parts warehouse and will maintain heavy equipment and engine parts inventory to support service technicians and our customers. This role works closely with Service Technicians and customers on their parts needs, fulfills parts orders, maintains inventory, picks and packs orders, makes hoses, and completes deliveries as needed.

Job Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have three years of warehouse and inventory experience. Some of the experience should be in a mechanical parts environment.
• Prefer knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts.

Keycompetencies

• Strong customer orientation, a positive attitude, and high motivation are required.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have computer proficiency, the ability to use Microsoft applications, and familiarity and experience with a database environment.

• Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull
• Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Dexterity Normal
• Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
