Job summary

Premier Truck Group is seeking a Parts Warehouse Associate to check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment and to assist with core inspection and warranty tracking. This Tuesday-Saturday 8am - 5pm position offers exposure to a wide range of parts and customers.

You will receive, log, and organize stock, search catalogs for the right part, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent; one year or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Training in Dealership environment preferred.
• Licenses or Certificates - A valid driver’s license is required. Certification as a forklift operator required.

Responsibilities

• Check, package, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
• Receive incoming merchandise from suppliers.
• Input information into the computer and files as required.
• Assist with core inspection and warranty tracking.
• Pull, organize, and log orders for ship out or delivery as required.
• Stock, maintain, locate parts in proper bins and mark products.
• Provide excellent customer service at the counter by listening to customers and meeting their needs.
• Respond to telephone inquiries from customers.
• Search catalogs for the correct part to meet the customers’ needs.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Responsible for care of equipment.
• Comply with company policies and procedures not to exclude safety regulations.
• Abide by security procedures.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Stay current on company product line.
