Job summary

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Parts Technician for the Fleet Division to keep agency vehicles on the road. You will maintain parts and supply inventories, source automotive parts, process purchases, issue parts, and coordinate with vendors.

The ideal candidate has automotive parts experience, strong organization, and attention to detail. You will use computerized systems to track inventory and support Fleet personnel across the agency.

Join a team where your skills keep our Fleet moving! The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Parts Technician to support our Fleet Division. In this role, you will help keep agency vehicles on the road by maintaining parts and supply inventories, sourcing automotive parts and materials, processing purchase orders and requisitions, issuing parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with vendors to ensure technicians have what they need to get the job done.

The ideal candidate has automotive parts experience, strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail. They are comfortable identifying and sourcing vehicle parts, managing inventory, working with vendors, and using computerized systems to maintain accurate records. The successful candidate is dependable, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing responsive support to Fleet personnel and other areas of the Agency.

Starting Salary: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
