Job summary

Transwest seeks a dedicated Parts Person to join the team in Tennessee. You will greet deliveries, manage inventory, and prepare orders for service or shipping, while ensuring accuracy and safety in all warehousing tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and basic computer skills, with lift truck certification preferred. You will operate in a fast-paced environment focusing on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Lift trucks certification and basic knowledge of warehousing equipment.
• Ability to work any shift if needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome delivery trucks and ensure safe loading/unloading.
• Record and manage impaired or damaged merchandise.
• Validate product receipt and post materials per process.
• Label and stock merchandise in standard packs.
• Process requests and stock orders; pull and prepare orders.
• Box, wrap and pack outgoing merchandise.
• Maintain inventory controls and ensure accuracy.
• Deliver and pick up parts; maintain knowledge of the area.
