Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, stocking, and shipping operations on site. You will handle inventory, pick and pack orders, and assist with on-site deliveries and customer service.

Candidate should be reliable, able to work in a team, perform basic math, read packing slips, and pass a background check. Physical stamina and safety awareness are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory and incoming shipments, identify damage or shortages.
• Pick, pull, process and ship outgoing orders.
• Stock inventory by bin location and deliver to job site on site.
• Load and secure large items for transport in truck or trailer.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with customers.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory counts as needed.
• Notify management of stock, equipment or building damage.
• Maintain a safe, organized, tidy workspace and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with housekeeping of warehouse and parts areas.

• Must be forklift certified or able to pass and obtain
• Receiving of inventory and incoming shipments, including identifying damage or shortages

• Follow all health and safety rules and guidelines, as well as common sense safety practices

Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to pass background check

Physical Requirements:

• Able to pass drug test
• Able to be pass medical physical exam
• Able to work in uncomfortable conditions (heat, cold, small spaces)
• Able to work in physically demanding positions
• Able to stand on one’s feet for prolonged periods
• Lift, carry, push or pull at least 50 pounds at a time
• Able to scale ladders or other means to stock or pull stock from shelves above one’s head and shoulder height
