Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in Romulus, MI is seeking a full-time Parts Driver/Specialist on the first shift (Mon–Fri). You will enter orders, deliver parts to customers, handle shipping/receiving, stock the parts department, and source/stock parts.

You will provide friendly customer service, support internal parts window, and uphold Alta’s guiding principles while maintaining reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a parts department preferred.
• Possess basic computer skills and good people skills.
• Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Order entry.
• Parts delivery to customers.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Stocking of parts department.
• Sourcing/ordering parts.

Our Material Handling group is seeking a full-time Parts Driver/Specialist for our Romulus, MI branch. This position is first shift, M - F. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

• Order entry
• Parts delivery to customers
• Shipping and receiving
• Stocking of parts department
• Sourcing/ordering parts
• Internal parts window
• General customer service
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Incorporate Alta’s Guiding Principles into daily activities
• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time

Qualifications:

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, talk/hear, sit, will reach with hands and arms; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Lift and/or Move Functions: Frequently will lift up to 10 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds
