Indy Equipment & Supply, a family-owned equipment dealer, is hiring a Parts Person & Small Engine Mechanic to support service and sales operations. You will assist customers, source parts, manage inventory, and support diagnostics and repairs of small engines and related equipment.

The role combines customer-facing work with hands-on mechanical tasks, requiring strong organizational skills, a safety-conscious mindset, and a customer-focused attitude. Apply to join our team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with small engine repair preferred.
• Knowledge of 2‑cycle and 4‑cycle engines.
• Familiarity with parts catalogs, diagrams, and inventory systems.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing correct parts.
• Manage parts inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate records in the parts management system.
• Process parts sales, returns, and warranties.
• Keep parts department clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Communicate with suppliers and follow up on backorders.
