Job summary

Dalton Ag is a premier fertilizer application equipment manufacturer, seeking a Shipping, Receiving and Parts Clerk. You will load/unload parts, ship orders, and perform cycle counts, ensuring accuracy of inbound shipments and ERP data.

Forklift operations and customer service for the Parts department are key components of the role. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, basic math and data entry skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related shipping and receiving or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and match parts books, diagrams, and part numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify counts.
• Prepare receiving confirmations for accounting.
• Build and assemble parts per order and production requirements.
• Stock and store shipments in appropriate locations.
• Operate forklift to load and unload freight and parts shipments.
• Ship parts using UPS WorldShip and other carriers.
• Provide back-up support for parts phone calls and customer service.
• Pick and package customer parts orders to standards.
• Ensure parts and freight shipments are complete and accurate.
• Maintain inventory of supplies (tape, boxes, etc.).
• Communicate work status and issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
