Job summary

Isringhausen Imports is hiring a Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Driver to support deliveries and shipments for our busy auto parts operation in Springfield, IL. Prior experience is preferred but not required; the role involves stocking, cataloging parts, preparing outgoing shipments, and occasional local deliveries.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, pay rate $16-$18 per hour, and receive medical benefits, a 401(k), paid vacation, and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Applicant should be neat, well organized and pay strong attention to detail.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must have strong communication and administrative skills.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift and load heavy up to 60 lbs.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and be a current resident.

Responsibilities

• Check in and organize morning and afternoon shipments.
• Assist in preparing for deliveries. May also be required to make deliveries.
• Keep shipping and receiving areas clean and clear of materials and parts.
• Stock parts and locate new parts to bins and catalog.
• Assist at the counter when needed.
• Prepare outgoing shipments.
• Safely load and unload auto parts.
• Ensure parts are delivered on time.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver and pick up auto parts (up to 60 lbs.) to local body shops, commercial customers, etc.
• Help maintain the overall cleanliness of the entire parts department.
• Other duties may be assigned when necessary
