Job summary

Hutson, Inc. in Jasper, IN seeks a customer service oriented parts associate to support the parts department.

You will help customers identify needed items, use electronic catalogs, merchandise and invoice according to company guidelines, and assist to keep the department clean and professional. In this role you will record sales, help manage inventory, stock parts, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with leadership to achieve company goals while delivering a positive customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with mechanical/technical terms.
• Knowledge of parts operating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by identifying items and using catalogs.
• Record all sales and customer transactions in company systems.
• Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet dealership standards.
• Assist in inventory control by reporting discrepancies.
• Ensure customers receive correct parts promptly.
• Participate in UNITY meetings and teamwork across departments.
• Attend leadership meetings for direction and guidance on goals.
• Support policies, plans and long-term objectives.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
