Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter in Charlotte, NC. You will sell parts to customers at the counter and over the phone, process SAP movements, and keep service orders updated.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts to external and account customers over the counter, shop, or phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are recorded in SAP promptly.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders possible in Parts link.
• Document sales per Rush policies including signatures and payment details.
• Process credit for parts returns with original invoice reference.
• Handle core returns and related procedures.
• Maintain orderly records of repairs, invoices, estimates, and parts.
• Arrange daily shipment, delivery, or pickup of orders.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in CSI and dealership marketing activities.

Parts Sales Representative - Front Counter sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to external customers via the counter or over the phone.

Responsibilities:

• Sell parts to external and account customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.
• Ensure all parts movements are performed in SAP in a timely manner.
• Keep repair orders updated in Service Link.
• Initiate all retail orders possible in Parts link.
• Ensure that all sales are properly documented per Rush policies to include but not limited to signatures, information on checks and credit card slips.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Responsible for core returns – per procedure.
• Complete all customer and vendor returns-per procedure.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Solicit assigned accounts by phone.
• Participate in Dealership CSI and marketing.

• Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Six months’ experience in over the counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment.
• Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.
