Job summary

A logistics and transportation company in Nashville, TN is seeking a Parts Runner for full-time employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing parts inventory, delivering parts to service technicians, and ensuring proper labeling and organization of the warehouse. Ideal candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with parts inventory when it is off.
• Maintain RO hold bin.
• Pull parts and deliver them to service technicians.
• Support service technicians with parts rapidly and accurately.
• Collect core and warranty parts from technicians for return processing.
• Follow company procedures for shortages or damaged parts.
• Put away incoming stock properly and ensure it is labeled.
• Dispose of unnecessary packing material after shipments.
• Pull customer orders as indicated and prepare for delivery.
• Keep the parts warehouse clean and organized, following safety guidelines.
• Maintain parts in 'will call' with associated paperwork.
• Process and maintain all returns to ensure they are in resaleable condition.

Education
