Responsibilities include stocking and organizing inventory, interacting with customers professionally, and maintaining records of parts deliveries. A valid driver’s license and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive parts or similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts promptly to technicians within the service department to prevent delays.
• Pickup and return parts from local suppliers or other dealership locations as needed.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining parts inventory, including stocking shelves and counts.
• Interact professionally with customers during part delivery to ensure a positive experience.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and maintained, reporting issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of parts delivered and received with signatures and documentation.
• Collaborate with parts and service to understand needs and prioritize tasks.
• Follow safety and transportation regulations for safe handling of parts.

Role Summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Runner to join our team. The Parts Runner will be responsible for delivering and retrieving automotive parts between the parts department, service department, and customers, ensuring timely and accurate service., and ensuring efficient and effective parts operations to support our dealership's goals.

• Interact professionally with customers when delivering parts, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and maintained in good working condition, reporting any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of parts delivered and received, including signatures and other necessary documentation.
• Work closely with the parts and service departments to understand their needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Follow all safety and transportation regulations to ensure safe and secure handling of parts and materials.
