Job summary

The Besser Company in Boone, Iowa is seeking a General Laborer to prepare parts for fabricators to use on special concrete pipe forms. This entry-level role involves assisting with cutting, assembling, and moving parts under the direction of the Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: None required, will train.
• Knowledge and use of machines and hand tools; ensure safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, rolls and/or breaks piece parts to required dimensions and shapes.
• Assembles parts and helps Fabricators as required.
• Works under the direction of the Shop Supervisor.
• Transports parts to designated area.
• Cutting all parts to 1/16” required.
