Tradewind Aviation in Stuart, FL is seeking a part-time Parts Personnel to source and order aircraft parts, unpack and label materials, and manage receiving, storage, and shipping. The position is hourly/non-exempt and requires flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts, with travel to the Caribbean and Northeast US as needed.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, a willingness to train, and knowledge of aircraft parts is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Source and order aircraft parts and shop equipment.
• Unpack, inspect, count, and label incoming material.
• Match paperwork with purchase orders and certifications.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship goods.
• Prepare aircraft parts for delivery to production.
• Maintain inventory control and accuracy in the system.
• Process core returns and related paperwork.
• Provide team-based, customer-focused support internally and externally.

About the Candidate / Role

Tradewind Aviation is looking a part-time Parts Personnel to work out of our Stuart, Floridia location. The individual should be attentive to detail, have strong organizational skills, good problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to help others. The position is non-exempt/hourly. Knowledge of aircraft/parts is a plus. Must be flexible with work schedule, for first or second shift and able to work weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions

• Source and order aircraft parts/shop equipment & supplies
• Unpacks, examines, counts, and labels incoming material
• Compares and matches paperwork (packing slips/certifications) with purchase orders
• Performs receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
• Obtain and prepare aircraft parts for delivery to the production floor
• Maintain inventory control and management system, including work order closing
• Maintain inventory accuracy and accessibility
• Process core returns (paperwork, packing, shipping)
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
• Provide positive, team-oriented collaboration and customer service with all internal and external stakeholders, project partners, and business users.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift / push or pull, greater than or equal to 90lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively on the phone and in meetings (in person and virtual)
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment

Working Conditions

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, use of computers and office equipment
• Indoor office setting with standard lighting and temperature
• Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, wind, sun and airplane exhaust (fumes).
