Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of trucking/automotive management experience.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR.
• Ability to interview, hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Strong customer service and sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall performance of the parts department.
• Supervise personnel: interview, hire, train, assign work, evaluate performance.
• Train staff on company policies and safety procedures.
• Motivate parts staff to provide high levels of customer service.
• Prepare annual marketing, budgeting, pricing, and discount strategies for the department.
• Identify customer needs and propose solutions.
• Maintain safe, secure work environment and regulatory compliance.
• Develop inventory control systems and monitor accuracy.
• Communicate department goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
