Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced Parts Manager in Tulsa to lead the parts department and grow it into a top-performing profit center. You will own inventory, gross, and the customer experience for service, wholesale, and retail customers.

You will build a sharp team, run a disciplined operation, and drive gross profit month over month with strong leadership and vendor relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts management experience required.
• Proven track record of growing parts gross and controlling inventory and obsolescence.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, pricing matrices, and DMS parts systems.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and team-development skills.
• Strong vendor, wholesale, and customer relationship skills.
• Clean driving record and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, train, schedule, and develop a high-performing parts team.
• Own parts inventory: maintain depth, manage aging/obsolescence, hit days-supply and turns.
• Drive gross profit through pricing, fill rates, and stock optimization.
• Keep the service department supplied so technicians are never waiting for parts.
• Grow wholesale and retail parts business and build relationships.
• Manage purchasing, stock orders, special orders, and returns.
• Run regular cycle counts and annual inventory with minimal variance.
• Monitor metrics: gross, turns, fill rate, obsolescence, emergency buys.
• Set standard for accuracy, urgency, and customer service.
• Partner with service and sales to keep operations smooth.
