Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a Parts Clerk to manage and complete all parts ordering, track deliveries, and verify parts upon receipt for repair orders. You will support body technicians, ensure accuracy of parts on the cart, and communicate with vendors to optimize parts availability.

Strong reading of work orders and experience in automotive parts is required. Competitive pay range posted; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k with match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in an automotive parts role preferred.
• Proficient with estimating software.
• Ability to read and understand repair orders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete all parts ordering: order parts based on initial estimates and supplements; communicate with vendors as needed; partner with Repair Planners for accuracy.
• Monitor deliveries: track parts status and communicate with vendors; update Repair Planner.
• Receive and check in parts: mirror match delivered parts to repair orders; ensure parts are on the parts cart.
• Inspect delivered parts for quality: check for damage within two hours of delivery.
• Return incorrect parts promptly to vendors.
• Drive parts-related KPIs: monitor margins, credits, inventory, and spend; report to General Manager as needed.
• Coordinate parts invoicing: ensure invoices are posted daily in CCC One; make corrections as necessary.
• Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge; provide reference materials and stay updated on regulations.
• Lead Parts Team (if applicable): mentor and direct activities of the Parts Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete all parts ordering: Quickly and accurately order parts based on initial estimates and supplements; Communicate with parts vendors to order parts as needed; Partner with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy
• Monitor deliveries: Regularly track parts status and communicate with vendor on parts status as needed; Update Repair Planner accordingly
• Receive and check in parts: Receive and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders and ensure all parts are placed and accounted for on the parts cart
• Inspect delivered parts for quality: Inspect parts for damage upon delivery within two hours of expected drop off
• Return incorrect parts: Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor
• Drive parts related KPIs: Monitor parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory and Material spend; Communicate to General Manager as needed to discuss optimization
• Coordinate parts invoicing: Ensure parts invoices are posted daily in CCC One – make corrections as necessary
• Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge: Supply reference materials to Technicians to ensure proper parts usage as needed; Keep up on laws and regulations of parts installation
• Lead Parts Team (if applicable): Serve as a mentor and direct the activities of the Parts Assistant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry
• Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software
