Job summary

Flogistix Lp is seeking a Parts Specialist to manage inventory and support technicians with compressor parts. You will order, receive, and ship parts, maintain records, and assist with warranties while ensuring accurate pricing and delivery information for invoicing.

The role requires experience with Excel/Word, inventory software, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Weekend/afterhours shifts may be required in a fast-paced oilfield setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the ability to read and write in English at the 12th grade level.
• Three years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or plumbing parts sales organization.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat, and an inventory management software package.
• Ability to identify parts in engineering drawings.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast pace environment.
• Prefer oilfield equipment experience, preferably compressor parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Orders parts from vendors to maintain established minimum stocking levels.
• Receives parts from vendors and inspects for defects.
• Picks parts from inventory to refill inventories and ships parts to customers.
• Maintains accurate inventory records of parts ordered, received, sold, and shipped.
• Generates and transmits information on parts quantities, pricing, and delivery charges for invoicing.
• Reads vendor catalogs to determine stock numbers and pricing.
• Generates purchase orders and transmits them to vendors and the Supervisor.
• Records receipt of ordered parts and storage locations for vendor payments.
• Picks and packages parts orders, weighs packages, and provides shipping details to customers.
• Assists technicians with ordering parts using drawings and “as built” documents.
• Participates in training to enhance compressor product and computer system knowledge.
• Assists with warranty claims per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Willing to work weekend/afterhours call out shifts.
