Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Parts Handler to support daily operations in the Production Yard or Warehouse. You will safely maneuver in the yard, locate and retrieve parts, and prepare items for delivery while handling relevant paperwork and coordinating with Sales and Dispatch.

The role requires basic math, familiarity with Outlook/Word/Excel, and the ability to operate a forklift. Physical demands and safety PPE are a regular part of the job, with opportunities for growth within LKQ.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret simple numbers.
• Proficient with common office software for paperwork and recordkeeping.
• Must be able to follow clear instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to safety and PPE requirements.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.
• Find and retrieve parts.
• Package parts for delivery or prepping.
• Handle paperwork involved with the parts.
• Pull work orders.
• Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.
• Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) or order picker.
• Pull and prep all sheet metal and other orders.
• Tag all parts properly for the destination.
• Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.
• Maintain a positive attitude and safe behavior during work hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
