Job summary

Kendall Ford of Wasilla is hiring a Parts Driver for our fast-paced parts department. This entry-level role involves picking up and delivering OEM and aftermarket parts between Kendall dealerships and vendors, with a focus on accuracy and timely service.

The position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $18.00/hour with room for growth, plus benefits and a clear career path within Kendall Auto Group. No weekend shifts; typical hours are Mon-Fri 8:00–5:00.

Qualifications

• A valid driver license and good driving record is required.
• Familiar with using hands-free mobile equipment while driving.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts, supplies and equipment between Kendall dealerships and vendor locations.
• Load and unload the vehicle and complete delivery logs.
• Monitor vehicle for maintenance needs and stock parts as required.
• May spend the majority of the shift driving and handling materials up to 50 lbs.

This is an entry level position; company driving experience and basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred. Kendall offers competitive hourly compensation and starting wage is $18.00/hourly with room for growth and future increases.

Ideal candidate will:

• be comfortable working within a motor vehicle up to entire work shift
• have extensive knowledge of the area and area roads
• complete tasks with a sense of urgency
• have an impeccable driving record.

Duties will include picking up and delivering parts, supplies and equipment between dealerships and to vendor locations, loading and unloading the vehicle, completing delivery logs, monitoring vehicle for maintenance needs, and stocking parts. Work is performed indoors, outdoors, and within motor vehicles for extended periods during the work shift; may spend entire work shift driving a vehicle. Carrying and lifting up to 50lbs is required frequently, bending and twisting frequently required, and reaching above shoulder height occasionally required.
